How to qualify for a USSSA World Series National Championship event? You can earn berths in several ways.

  • The Road to Orlando at Disney requires no qualification process.
  • All other World Series require some qualifications. Most tournaments have at least 4 berths for the 1st and 2nd place winners. However, the more teams that participate the more berths that are available. To see the berth procedures, Click Here.
  • Teams that host or co-host tournaments earn a berth.
  • In 2017 teams that play in at least 2 USSSA events in any state to earn an at-large berth.
  • C Teams do not need to qualify to earn a berth in the C World Series but they do need to play in 3 USSSA tournaments (any class) to play.
  • Teams 14UB or below must play in their state's "State Tournament" or another state's event if your state does not have one. If this is a difficult for your schedule contact your state director for alternate options.
